Mental Health Training Program for Juvenile Court professionals.

Mental Health training specifically adapted for Juvenile Judges, Magistrates, and Court Administrators.

This two-hour, evidence-informed interactive training provides an overview of the key developmental and environmental factors that relate to the emergence and management of mental health disorders and self-harm/suicide crises in youth.

Through case scenarios and activities, participants will:

• - Learn the factors that increase a youth’s risk for developing a mental health disorders.

• - Enhance ability to identify the key signs and symptoms of mental health issues - Increase awareness of the risk and protective factors for self-harm and suicide

• - Learn to better understand, identify and engage appropriate Mental Health Resources and Support
